Our missions are ever changing—expanding to meet the needs of the world around us
Helping our elders.
We volunteer at both the Episcopal Church Home in Rochester and Brentland Woods, located just behind our church. Our Rector and volunteers celebrate an 8:30 a.m. Eucharist there every Sunday.
Food for those in need.
On the first Sunday of the month, we have a “Full Tummys” collection—everyone brings in non-perishable food items that are donated to the Rush Henrietta Area Food Terminal (RHAFT).
St. Peter’s has a long standing tradition of working in prison ministries such as collaborating with Cephas Attica or tutoring at Industry. We provide volunteers and resources that help rehabilitate nonviolent ex-offenders.
Every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. members meet to pray. We honor prayer requests received during the week and pray for individual members of our church. We also host a chapter of the Daughters of the King.
We open our building to many organizations for their meetings such as:
FA (Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous)
AA (Alcohol Anonymous)
Saturday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Guiding Eyes For the Blind
Robin Brooks: 716-652-7951
Canine Development Center: 866-432-LABS
We also support other area ministries such as Ronald McDonald House, School #9 tutoring, Habitat for Humanity, A Meal & More, and others as needs are identified.
