One Sunday each month parishioners who are hurting spiritually or physically can choose to be anointed during worship.
Lenten Series – Annually
One evening per week for four weeks of lent, parishioners gather for soup, salad and discussion. The topic for the series is determined by the rector/lay church leader. Examples of past discussions include The Lord’s Prayer and the Nicene Creed.
Wednesday Morning Prayer Group
A small group of parishioners meet to offer up in prayer families from the congregation.
Lay Pastoral Care/Lay Eucharist Ministry
Several trained parishioners are available to respond to members of the congregation who may be ill, hospitalized, struggling with personal issues, have a death in the family or are home-bound. They work under the guidance of the pastor, and with input from the person requesting support, determine what is needed, e.g. phone calls, meals, visits, Communion.
